WHAT IS MY STORY?

Hi! I’m Jenni, but you can call me JB. I’m a former collegiate and professional athlete, who is a mindset and mental performance coach.

Originally from Louisville, KY, I excelled as an All-American in both high school basketball and volleyball before playing college basketball at Vanderbilt University. I earned a silver medal with Team USA at the Pan-American Games and went on to play professionally in the WNBA (Indiana Fever) and internationally in Spain and Australia.

During my last year as a professional athlete, I had the opportunity to work with a sports psychologist who significantly influenced my mindset both on and off the court. This experience ignited a passion for learning, leading me to pursue a master's degree in counseling and sports psychology after retiring from basketball. I then applied these tools while coaching basketball at the high school and Division 1 college levels.

My journey continued as I served as an athletic director at a middle and high school, where I helped build programs from the ground up. Currently, I’m a lead growth coach, helping adults turn their career and academic aspirations into actionable steps.

Over the years, I have accumulated over 1,000 coaching hours as a professional certified coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF-PCC) and iPEC (CPC),

in addition to my role as a Mental Performance Coach. I’ve worked with athletes of all ages and levels—from youth to professionals—along with coaches, parents, and corporate leaders. In other words, the skills I’ve developed are transferable to many areas of life.

Now, I live in Colorado, with my wife and 2 huskies, where I enjoy hiking, working out, mixing music, and being a fan of all sports.

WHAT IS MY WHY?

Why do I coach?

For years, I held myself back in so many areas of my life, lacking the awareness and tools to make real change. I wasted time, energy, and missed opportunities. But once I found those tools, everything transformed—my mindset, my energy, and my approach to life improved in ways I never expected.

This is what I strive to give my clients.

I deserved that growth, and now, so do you!
